As a wellness center we believe in fresh, organic, healthy, power-packed – and delicious – meals and snacks. You will wake up to a protein shake, enjoy a savory breakfast, re-charge your batteries with on-the-trail snacks, enjoy a nutritious lunch on the trail or in the dining room and then relax at dinner over a satisfying gourmet entrée. Mountain Trek’s Health And Wellness Retreats

At our wellness retreats we believe in empowering you with solid, scientific (but simple to understand) information. We will share with you the practical, workable, evidence-based strategies for healthy eating. In a lively and interactive nutrition class, you will learn how to choose the foods that promote health and vitality as well as foods for weight loss. Our deep knowledge of how what we eat (and what we don’t eat) affects our bodies and can change the way you think about food and plan your meals. You’ll take all the details including healthy recipes for weight loss home with you in our Mountain Trek Handbook.

You will practice these new eating habits every day at every meal at Mountain Trek, where eating is about nourishing and nurturing a healthy, active body. Our freshly-sourced, exquisitely prepared, beautifully presented wellness center spa cuisine meals are calorie and portion-controlled – and delicious. Working with our talented chefs and kitchen staff, we have designed an inventive menu that, meal by meal, will provide you with all the energy you need to put maximum effort into hiking and fitness activities while being the best foods for weight loss. You don’t count calories (we do the work). You are not tempted by buffet-style service. But we do guarantee you will be tempted by such dishes as Cedar-planked salmon, Chipotle-rubbed beef sirloin, Moroccan Chicken Stew as well as a variety of fresh vegetarian options. You will take the recipes home with you. And you’ll take home a lot more: a new way of looking at food, a new attitude toward your body and how to nourish and energize it, and a life-changing plan. This is not a fat farm, it's a wellness center.
