You probably wonder what a typical day or week at a fitness boot camp looks like. The following is a basic outline of what to expect. We stick to a plan but every day is a different hiking location, lecture, meal, activity. While you will find time to be alone, most of your day is filled with fitness activity, food, fun and fresh mountain air and vistas.

Morning

  • 6:00 Morning Comes Early! A gentle, but firm wake-up tap on the door.
  • 6:15 Nourish the Body with herbal tonic and protein shake in the dining room.
  • 6:30 Greet the Day with yoga. A gentle stretch class while you watch the sunrise over the mountains.
  • 7:30 Breakfast in our scenic dining room overlooking the stunning Kootenay Lake.
  • 8:00 Morning briefing with the guides who review the day's hike, including level of difficulty, terrain, and clothing to bring for the day.
  • 8:30 Depart for the trailhead in 4-wheel drive vehicles.

Each hike is unique and we've picked the very best the area have to offer! Each group is accompanied by experienced guides trained in first aid, and who are always in radio and telephone contact in case of emergency. Lunch is taken each day at a convenient spot along the trail, whether at waterfall,an alpine lake or meadow, an historic cabin, or a glacier fed river.

Afternoon

  • 3:30 - Back to the Lodge
  • 4:00 - Cutting Edge Seminars in Fitness, Nutrition and Detox

Evening

  • 5:00 - Dinner
  • 6:00 - Evening Activity Class (Circuit training, strength training and fitness)
  • 7 - 10:00 - Massage and Detox In the Spa
